Cupertino Front Yard

With a pool and hot tub taking much of the back yard space, our clients wanted to make full use of their front yard. A flagstone patio was installed surrounded by low water native and Mediterranean plants. The owners now have a quiet space for reading or relaxing with a glass of wine watching the hummingbirds and butterflies.

Ryan Garden

Seating walls and pathways give this small garden a new lease of life. The small lawn has been replaced by plants that thrive in the shade. Subtle lighting makes this garden glow in the evening and a great place to unwind or entertain.

Family Garden, Cupertino

Having outgrown soccer games, this family wanted to take out some of their large lawn. We installed a new pathway leading to the arbor and built a large raised bed. The new bed was planted in the fall and by the following summer was a riot of color and texture.

Swim Club

It was time to change the dated and sparse planting areas. We advised on the removal of old plant material, soil preparation and new irrigation techniques. Plants were selected for easy maintenance, low water, low litter, attracting minimal bee population and to look good throughout swim season. We chose a palette of plants to suit the hillside location that will be used throughout the property. This is the first bed … on to the next. .

Cactus Garden, Villa Montalvo

It is such a pleasure to volunteer in this garden and work with a dedicated group of designers and horticulturalists. It has been a labor of love, and a lot of weed pulling, that has brought this garden back to its former glory. There are great ideas here for gardens with little or no irrigation - do visit if you are in the area.

A series of pots and troughs were selected to suit the back and fronts of these stores. We maintain the planters throughout the year. The annuals and color are changed with the seasons.
